Job summary

Pratt Industries is seeking a safety-conscious production support worker to assist the Machine Operator in operating and setting up equipment, maintaining quality, and improving efficiency. The role requires adherence to GMPs, safety procedures, and accurate data reporting within a busy packaging environment.

Experience in manufacturing and packaging is preferred. Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 pounds and be willing to work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Prior work experience in the packaging industry preferred.
• 6 months experience in manufacturing operation.

Responsibilities

• Work safely at all times and comply with Pratt Industries safety rules and procedures.
• Follow GMPs (Good Manufacturing Processes).
• Ensure quality by stopping bad quality before it leaves the facility and maintaining attention to detail.
• Assist the Machine Operator to maximize equipment utilization and improve setup times and downtime.
• Maintain housekeeping and keep work areas clean and free of hazards.
• Cross-train on other machines and learn other plant positions.
• Complete production and safety reports accurately and timely.
