Job summary

Pratt Industries is seeking a Production Operator to safely run and set up packaging machines, perform cleanup, and drive improvements to meet customer demand. The role emphasizes strict adherence to GMPs, safety rules, and quality procedures while maintaining a clean, organized work area.

You will train and assist junior operators, cross-train on other machines, and contribute to efficient plant operations. Overtime and weekend shifts may be required to support production schedules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Preferred packaging industry experience (paper, plastics, converting).
• 6 months experience in manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate production machines safely, including setup, operation, and cleanup.
• Follow GMPs, safety rules, and quality procedures to prevent defects.
• Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping in work areas.
• Help train and assist junior operators and cross-train on other machines.
• Complete reports like Production Data and Quality Data.
• Assist with scheduling and overtime as needed.
