Ideal candidates bring 2+ years in kitchen supervisory roles, strong communication, and the ability to manage labor and inventory.

Qualifications

• High School or G.E.D.
• A minimum of 2+ years of kitchen experience
• Previous supervisory experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; basic computer/technical skills are a plus
• Carrying/Lifting to 50 pounds
• Punctuality with regular attendance
• Contribute to a positive team environment

Responsibilities

• Assist in hiring, training, and developing kitchen staff to ensure a high-performing team
• Supervise and motivate team members to meet service standards and kitchen goals
• Monitor staff timekeeping and scheduled shifts
• Provide coaching and corrective action to ensure labor compliance
• Review daily event sheets to create accurate prep lists and timely menus
• Contribute to recipe development and daily specials
• Conduct regular line checks for product quality and food safety
• Oversee kitchen areas for cleanliness and organization
• Ensure health department and brand sanitation standards
• Complete food safety and Serve-Safe certifications and ensure team compliance
• Monitor inventory and rotate stock using FIFO
