The role involves budgeting collaboration with the Kitchen Manager, maintaining safety standards, and coordinating ordering, receiving deliveries, and inventory while supporting a high-volume service environment. Flexible scheduling is available.

Qualifications

• Basic skills such as sanitation, safety, and customer service taught through in-house training.
• Must be able to communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Works cooperatively with Kitchen Manager to manage budget and operations.
• Keeps GM/Kitchen Manager informed of problems and proposes solutions.
• Maintains a clean and safe facility.
• Monitors food temperatures during handling to reduce risk of illness.
• Communicates clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
• Communicates with vendors for restaurant equipment and supplies.
• Completes kitchen temperature checks and walk-throughs.
• Assists in ordering food and restaurant supplies.
• Receives deliveries and guides staff for stocking items.
• Performs and assists in all kitchen operations.
