Job summary

The Buckle, Inc. is seeking an Assistant in Training and Assistant Manager in Palmdale, CA to drive guest service and sales while leading a team. You will collaborate with the Store Manager and Leadership Team to recruit, train and motivate Teammates and step in as Store Manager when needed.

This role emphasizes sales leadership, merchandising, and operational execution with benefits and career progression within a growing retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1–3 months retail experience or training.
• Strong leadership and team development abilities.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work various shifts including holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet Guests and provide legendary service; assist with merchandise and sales activities.
• Lead by example in sales, product knowledge and guest engagement.
• Recruit, train and develop teammates; support Store Manager in staffing and store operations.
• Maintain and demonstrate visual standards; support loss prevention and store policies.
• Assist with scheduling, coaching, and cross-functional communication to drive sales and guest satisfaction.
