Job summary

CAPHR is seeking an Assistant Housing Director in New Hampshire to support senior housing and resident services, ensuring top-tier service delivery. The role emphasizes training and technical assistance to the support team to meet service levels across funding sources.

Qualifications

• Minimum four years of College Education in Human Services.
• Experience in operations management and customer service in a senior care environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to drive statewide on weekly basis – multisite.

Responsibilities

• Support the Housing Director in designing and directing program initiatives to deliver high-quality services to residents.
• Liaise between CAPHR and HUD field offices and disseminate HUD notices to housing personnel.
• Support processes for problem solving and process improvement.
• Train housing staff and provide technical assistance to ensure effective data access and program evaluation.
• Collaborate with leadership to represent CAPHR to community, state and federal agencies and promote CAPHR.
• Work with Housing Managers to maintain sites to HUD/Management standards.
• Monitor adherence to rules, regulations and procedures.
• Assist Housing Managers with site-by-site needs assessments.
• Investigate and present process improvement suggestions to the Housing Director.
• Organize training from tenant selection through ongoing management of properties per HUD requirements.
• Identify training opportunities and support professional development.
• Maintain confidentiality of clients and staff in line with CAPHR policy.
