Job summary

New Hampshire Housing in Bedford, NH is seeking a Rental Assistance Manager for the Assisted Housing Division to oversee essential housing programs and ensure compliance with HUD regulations.

You will determine eligibility, manage Housing Assistance Payments totaling about $5 million annually, and administer multiple rental assistance programs including HCV, PBV, and VASH, with an emphasis on service excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least five years relevant work experience.
• Ability to read, write and speak English at a proficient level.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office at an intermediate level.
• Experience with Yardi Software preferred.
• Ability to prioritize work and adjust priorities as needed.

Responsibilities

• Determine eligibility in accordance with HUD regulations and NH Housing Administrative Plan.
• Administer approximately $5 million annually in Housing Assistance Payments (HAP).
• Oversee multiple rental assistance programs, including HCV, Moderate Rehabilitation, PBV, Mainstream, VASH, Homeownership, FUP, FYI, and other vouchers.
