French Lick Resort is seeking an Assistant Housekeeping Manager in Indiana to support the Housekeeping Manager in delivering exceptional cleanliness and service. You will oversee staff, training, and scheduling to maintain high standards across all areas of the resort.

The role requires strong communication, organization, and ability to handle high-stress situations, with a focus on quality assurance and cost-conscious operations.

Formación

• Must have High School Diploma or HSED.
• Minimum two years college preferred.
• Three years housekeeping experience in a management role required.
• Ability to handle high stress situations.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Detail oriented and good organizational skills.
• Must be a minimum of 21 years of age to work in the Casino in a non-sensitive area.

Responsabilidades

• Assists with interviewing and hiring of all housekeeping staff.
• Assists Housekeeping Manager with training and re-training of staff.
• Identifies employees for possible promotions.
• Disciplinaries to improve performance, with commendations as warranted.
• Assists with department purchasing to maintain supplies and equipment.
• Administers Quality Assurance Program.
• Establishes new standards to provide high-quality service.
• Works with Housekeeping manager to identify areas for improvement.
• Assists with weekly/monthly inventories and reports to Accounting.
• Maintains payroll costs within budgeted guidelines through scheduling.
• Monitors expenses by staff usage of supplies and equipment.
• Attends scheduled meetings (Rooms Division, Department Head, Safety).
• Reports in written or verbal form to the Housekeeping Manager.
• Responsible for quality control and daily staff monitoring.
• Ensures cleanliness standards across all areas of responsibility.
• Performs timely and fair performance appraisals.
• Performs duties as reasonably requested by Management.
