Hyatt Indy in downtown Indianapolis is seeking an Assistant Housekeeping Manager to support daily housekeeping operations, ensure rooms and public spaces meet brand standards, and lead a team of associates.

Reporting to the Executive Housekeeper, you will assist with scheduling, training, and performance feedback, manage inventory and safety compliance, and collaborate with Front Office and Maintenance to ensure guest readiness and satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of housekeeping experience in a hotel or resort environment. 1 year of supervisory or team lead experience preferred.
• Experience with property management or housekeeping systems (OnQ, Opera, or HotSOS) preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assist in supervising daily housekeeping operations, ensuring all rooms and public areas meet cleanliness standards.
• Inspect guest rooms and public spaces for quality assurance and adherence to brand standards.
• Support scheduling, training, and performance feedback for housekeeping staff.
• Maintain inventory of linens, supplies, and equipment, ensuring proper usage and storage.
• Monitor productivity and assist in maintaining labor and supply cost controls.
• Coordinate with Front Office and Maintenance to ensure timely room readiness and repairs.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and resolve concerns professionally.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, safety, and company policies.
• Participate in departmental meetings and assist with reporting as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
