Phoenix American Hospitality LLC is seeking a Housekeeping Manager to lead the housekeeping and laundry teams at a Baton Rouge hotel. The role focuses on delivering exceptional cleanliness, guest satisfaction, and efficient operations, while ensuring safety and adherence to brand standards.

You will manage budgets, inventory, and vendor relationships, and mentor staff to maintain high-quality service across guest rooms and public areas.

Qualifications

• Minimum four (4) years of progressive housekeeping or rooms operations experience, including at least two (2) years in a leadership or management role.
• Experience leading housekeeping operations within a hotel environment.
• Strong knowledge of housekeeping procedures, laundry operations, inventory management, and quality assurance practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily operations of the housekeeping and laundry departments to ensure guest rooms and public areas meet cleanliness standards.
• Train, coach, and develop housekeeping associates while fostering a positive work environment.
• Promote teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement throughout the department.
• Develop and implement housekeeping procedures to support efficiency and guest satisfaction.
• Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and storage areas to ensure compliance with standards.
• Coordinate room readiness with the front desk to maximize room availability.
