Job summary

Four Seasons Lana’i is seeking an Assistant Housekeeping Manager to lead housekeeping staff across guest rooms, public areas, and designated spaces while upholding Forbes Five‑Star and Five‑Diamond standards.

The role requires at least 2 years of supervisory experience in a hotel or resort environment, with on-island housing options and a premium benefits package. Work authorization in the United States is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in Housekeeping within a hotel or resort environment preferred.
• Legal work authorization in United States required (on-site) for work at Four Seasons Lana’i.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Housekeeping staff across guest rooms and public areas, providing coaching and guidance to meet luxury standards.
• Conduct performance evaluations and manage payroll/ labor reporting.
• Communicate clearly and follow up on operational issues and guest requests.
• Schedule staff and coordinate daily assignments to ensure smooth shifts.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction across all areas.
• Handle guest complaints professionally and discreetly while accommodating requests.
• Ensure safety and security of guests and employees.

Assistant Housekeeping Manager

The Four Seasons Resort Lāna’i is looking for an Assistant Housekeeping Manager who share a passion for excellence and who infuse enthusiasm into everything they do. Our teams’ have the opportunity to shape our guest experience by providing exceptional knowledge of the Resort and exemplifying the Golden Rule in each interaction. Work authorization required.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Supervise and lead Housekeeping staff across guest rooms, public areas, and designated spaces by interviewing, training, mentoring, and coaching team members to consistently meet Forbes Five‑Star and Five‑Diamond standards
• Conduct performance evaluations, administer corrective action when necessary, and ensure accurate daily labor reporting and timely bi‑weekly payroll submission
• Maintain clear communication and provide prompt follow‑up on operational issues, guest requests, and special requirements
• Schedule staff and coordinate daily assignments, overseeing the smooth start and execution of each shift
• Monitor team performance to ensure productivity goals, quality standards, and guest expectations are consistently achieved
• Perform daily inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and Sensei Wellness spaces to uphold the highest luxury and operational standards
• Handle guest complaints and requests with professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail, accommodating special requests whenever possible
• Interact with guests in person and by phone while consistently upholding Four Seasons benchmark service standards
• Take proactive measures to ensure the safety, security, and well‑being of guests and employees

WHAT TO BRING

• Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in United States (unless the candidate is currently in a managerial position at another Four Seasons location as they may qualify for a L‑1 Visa sponsorship)
• The hospitality business functions seven (7) days a week, twenty‑four (24) hours a day and scheduled days and times may vary based on need. Holidays and weekends availability is required.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 30lbs, and push/pull as needed during shifts
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in Housekeeping within a hotel or resort environment preferred
