Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking an Assistant Grocery Manager to help oversee a busy store department and lead one of our busiest teams. You will support the Grocery Manager in achieving sales, margin and inventory targets while delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.

You will assist with hiring, coaching and training the Grocery Team, manage orders and inventory, and ensure compliance with health and safety guidelines. A friendly, proactive leader thrives here.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of retail management experience.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor with a customer focus.
• Ability to lead and develop a grocery team.
• Physically able to lift up to 60 lbs and handle store tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Grocery Manager in managing and merchandising the department for productivity and profit.
• Oversee ordering, inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Grocery team.
• Coordinate merchandising and sales through planning, direction and teamwork.
• Help lead a team to deliver high-quality products and exceptional customer service.
• Assist in hiring, training, and developing the Grocery Team.
