Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking an Assistant Grocery Manager to help customers make healthy choices while leading one of the store’s busiest teams. You will support the Grocery Manager in daily operations, merchandising, ordering, and people development to maximize productivity and profitability.

The role requires strong communication, leadership, and planning skills, with a focus on team engagement, service quality, and adherence to health and safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old and have 1–3 years of retail management experience
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Strong written and verbal communication and teamwork skills
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor with the ability to interact with customers
• Ability to analyze margin reports, sales data, and inventory needs
• Physical ability to lift/move items as part of the role

Responsibilities

• Assist Grocery Manager in daily operations and merchandising for productivity and profit
• Oversee ordering, inventory control, product quality and Grocery team supervision
• Coordinate merchandising and sales through planning, direction and teamwork
• Help lead a team to deliver high product quality and service to customers
• Assist in hiring, training, and development of the Grocery Team
• Support unloading and sorting store deliveries
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
