Sprouts Farmers Market seeks an Assistant Grocery Manager to help customers make healthy choices through outstanding service and expert department leadership. You will assist in managing one of the store’s busiest teams, driving productivity, merchandising, and profitability while upholding health and safety standards.

You’ll hire, train, and develop the Grocery Team, coordinate deliveries, and ensure excellent customer experiences in a fast-paced environment at Sprouts Farmers Market.

Qualifications

• Retail management experience (1–3 years) required.
• Flexible schedule with nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Leadership ability to train and develop staff.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Grocery Manager in managing and merchandising the department for productivity and profit.
• Order placement, inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Grocery team.
• Coordinate merchandising and sales through planning, direction, and teamwork.
• Help lead a team to deliver top-quality products and great customer service.
• Assist in hiring, training, and developing the Grocery Team.
• Unload and sort through store deliveries.
• Enforce health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and ensure staff compliance.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment and contribute to store success.
