OverviewAnsley Golf Club was founded in 1912 and is a member-owned, 27-hole facility featuring two distinct properties: the Midtown Atlanta property and the Settindown Creek property located in Roswell, Georgia. Ansley Golf Club was most recently ranked as the 41st ranked golf club by the Platinum Club of America (24-25).
This position will be located at the Settindown Creek Property.
Settindown Creek features an 18-hole Bob Cupp designed golf course that is continually ranked as one of the top courses in Georgia. It plays 24,000 rounds annually and includes a 2-bay indoor teaching facility equipped with Trackman, V1, BodiTrax, and S.A.M. Putt Lab. Additionally, Settindown offers a 10.5-acre practice range and a 4-hole short course. The property is currently undergoing a golf course renovation by architect Tyler Rae, with plans to reopen in September 2025. The Midtown location features a 9-hole golf course with 26,000 rounds played annually. It offers 2 sets of tees and 10 greens, allowing members to play 18 holes. Approximately 70% of members play 18 holes at Midtown. This location serves as the club's hub, with 85% of members living within 5 miles. Ansley offers a wide array of amenities including 8 hydro grid tennis courts, 3 pickleball courts, a fitness center, a swimming complex, and multiple dining areas in two clubhouses.

Essential ResponsibilitiesThis position is for the Settindown Creek property. We are seeking an individual eager to advance their career toward becoming a Head Golf Professional. Key qualities include a desire to learn, ability to engage members, and being a team player. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Working 5 days per week, averaging 46 hours during the season and 40 hours in the off-season.
- Providing a hospitable environment to members and guests to create memorable experiences.
- Acting as an ambassador for golf and the club.
- Interacting daily with members in the golf shop, range, first tee, and on the course.
- Managing daily play, starting on the first tee, and monitoring pace of play.
- Assisting with golf shop duties such as billing, inventory, and merchandising.
- Supporting tournament operations using Golf Genius software.
- Managing the tee sheet via ForeTees software.
- Communicating daily with outside service staff, grounds crew, and F&B staff.
- Assisting the Director of Instruction and Junior Golf Leader with junior and ladies golf programs as needed.
- Playing golf with members and participating in chapter and section events.
- Conducting private lessons.
- Maintaining active progress toward PGA membership.
- Understanding and communicating golf policies, including tee time rules, pace of play, dress code, and guest policies.
