Overview

Founded in 1898, Atlanta Athletic Club is home to two championship golf courses, a nine-hole par 3 course, a golf learning center, a 140,000 sq.-ft. clubhouse, an athletic center, racquet sports center, and aquatics center. The Highlands golf course has hosted a U.S. Open, three PGA Championships, the 2021 KPMG Women's PGA Championship, a U.S. Amateur, among other prestigious events. The Riverside course has hosted a Ladies U.S. Open and a U.S. Amateur. The club is scheduled to host three upcoming USGA events, including the 2030 U.S. Amateur.

Position Overview

The Assistant Golf Professional is a vital member of the club's Professional Staff. The environment promotes creativity, ongoing education, and personal and professional growth.

Responsibilities

1. Support the mission and values of Atlanta Athletic Club.
2. Create a welcoming atmosphere for members and guests.
3. Provide exceptional customer service and club information.
4. Greet members personally and promote club events.
5. Manage daily operations of the golf shop, including opening, closing, and inventory management.
6. Assist with answering calls, handling messages, and communicating tee sheet changes.
7. Help interpret club policies and assist with junior clinics as needed.
