Job summary

Glen Oak Country Club in Glen Ellyn, IL, seeks an Assistant Golf Professional to work closely with the Director of Golf and the Golf Operations team. You will support daily shop operations, on-course management, and instruction, while coordinating member tournaments and outings.

Experience with private clubs is preferred and PGA membership or ongoing pursuit is required. Benefits include golfing privileges, meals on shift, and eligibility-based 401K participation.

Qualifications

• PGA member or actively pursuing PGA Membership.
• Private Club experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily golf operations including daily shop and on-course management.
• Support member tournament and outside outing operations.
• Coordinate outside service operations and instruction activities.
• Maintain inventory management for golf operations.

Overview

Position will assist the Director of Golf and Golf Operations team in the daily operations of Golf. Involvement & exposure to will include, but not limited to:

• Daily Golf Shop Operations
• Daily On Course Managagment (Starting/Pace of Play)
• Member Tournament Operations
• Outside Outing Operations
• Outside Service Operations
• Instruction (Junior Golf, Clinic & Individual Instruction)
• Inventory Management

Experience Required
