Job summary

Army Navy Country Club/Arlington Course is seeking a candidate for a Head Professional/Director of Golf training track who will lead with a strong presence on the first tee and course. The role focuses on mentoring in daily play management, tournament operations, and elite member service at a private club.

The ideal candidate possesses PGA status or is pursuing membership, with a passion for teaching, golf operations, and junior golf, while upholding the club’s professional image.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing daily play and tournament play, with strong first-tee presence.
• Provide excellent customer service, professional advice, and assistance to members and guests.
• Supervise and train golf operations staff as directed by Head Professional.
• Administer tournament operations using Golf Genius Tournament Software.

Experience Required

• Highly motivated and hardworking team player.
• Someone who maintains and promotes a positive image and has a customer focused attitude.
• Private club experience preferred.
• PGA Member in good standing or PGA Associate actively pursuing membership.
• Fundamental knowledge of the game and teaching, the Rules of Golf, Facility Operations, Tournament Operations and Junior Golf.

Essential Responsibilities

• Assists in the management of daily play and tournament play. Individual can demonstrate an attentive attitude in their first tee and on-course presence.
• Provide excellent customer service, professional advice and assistance to all members and guests.
• Supervise and train golf operations staff as directed by the Head Professional.
• Administer tournament operations utilizing Golf Genius Tournament Software.
