Job summary

Hot Springs Village Property Owners Assoc. is seeking an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent to support the Golf Course Superintendent in supervising maintenance personnel and operations at the golf course. A valid Arkansas driver’s license and insurance proof are required.

The role involves training staff, budgeting, agronomical program development, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance, with potential acting duties in the Superintendent's absence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or AA or equivalent from a two or four year college or technical school.
• A minimum of 3 years related experience and/or training, or a combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Train golf course personnel relative to maintenance equipment usage, techniques and conduct.
• Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and oversee expenditure within approved guidelines.
• Assist in formulation and administration of annual agronomical maintenance programs for greens, tees, fairways and roughs.
• Supervise storage, handling and application of all fertilizers and pesticides per laws and safety regulations.
• Act in the capacity of the Superintendent in the absence of the Superintendent.
• May be required to drive POA or personal vehicle for POA business.
• Inspect golf course regularly to assure surface quality for all golfers.
• Regular attendance is required.
