Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services is seeking an Assistant General Manager to help ensure smooth day-to-day operations. This entry-level management role offers exposure to core management tasks and decision-making responsibilities.

You will lead a team, deliver feedback, coach supervisors, and ensure adherence to brand standards and policies while maintaining high customer service levels. The position supports flexible schedules and opportunity to learn operations across locations.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and management skills with proven ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Excellent customer service abilities and positive attitude.
• Excellent verbal and communication skills with a sharp business acumen.
• Basic food safety understanding and practice.
• Ability and willingness to lift/push objects weighing over 30 Lbs.

Responsabilités

• Deliver performance feedback, set goals, foster teamwork, and clearly communicate business objectives.
• Supervise day-to-day operations of non-management associates, assign tasks, coach shifts supervisors, and focus on store performance.
• Be able to perform duties in the absence of the general manager.
• Motivate and positively influence staff, especially during low morale periods.
• Demonstrate strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Address issues in a timely fashion and ensure adherence to policies.
• Maintain awareness of brand standards and procedures to maximize brand/landlord/labor relations.
• Ensure the restaurant looks clean, inviting, and adheres to brand standards.
• Ensure cash management is accurate and reports are delivered as directed.
• Address customer needs and resolve issues to foster positive, long-term relationships.
• Perform spot inventory counts to ensure inventory data accuracy.
