Job summary

Ruth's Chris Steak House in Park City, Utah is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead daily restaurant operations and develop a high-performing front-of-house team. You will drive guest satisfaction and financial results while modeling professional service and teamwork on every shift.

You will partner with the General Manager to set service standards, manage labor, costs, and scheduling, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in a fine-dining environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of restaurant management experience, preferably in fine dining or a high-volume upscale setting.
• Strong knowledge of upscale service standards.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team.
• Working knowledge of P&L management, cost controls, and scheduling.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a calm, guest-first approach under pressure.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays, especially during peak seasons.
• Food safety certification (ServSafe or equivalent) and Utah alcohol server/manager certification, or ability to obtain.
• Experience with POS and reservation systems.
• Passionate, caring, people-focused, top-line driven while maintaining fiscal responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise front-of-house operations during service, ensuring flawless execution of Ruth's Chris service standards.
• Train, coach, and develop team members, fostering a positive and accountable culture.
• Help manage labor to meet business levels and budget targets.
• Monitor and control costs, including beverage, supplies, and labor, and assist with P&L review.
• Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and Utah alcohol service regulations.
