Ruth's Chris Steak House in Park City, Utah seeks an Assistant General Manager who partners with the GM to oversee daily restaurant operations, develop a high-performing front-of-house team, and drive guest satisfaction and financial results. You will lead service standards, coach staff, manage labor and costs, resolve guest concerns, and ensure health and safety compliance at peak times.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of restaurant management experience, preferably in fine dining or a high-volume upscale setting.
• Strong knowledge of upscale service standards and guest experience.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team.
• Working knowledge of P&L management, cost controls, and scheduling.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with a guest-first approach.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays, especially during peak seasons.
• Food safety certification (ServSafe or equivalent) and Utah alcohol server/manager certification, or ability to obtain.
• Experience with POS and reservation systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise front-of-house operations during service, ensuring flawless execution of service standards.
• Train, coach, and develop team members, fostering a positive and accountable culture.
• Help manage labor to meet business levels and budget targets.
• Monitor and control costs, including beverage, supplies, and labor, and assist with P&L review.
• Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and Utah alcohol service regulations.
