Job summary

KidStrong is seeking an Assistant General Manager for the West Des Moines center. You will work with the General Manager to foster a learning culture for coaches and families while driving sales performance and reducing member attrition.

The role involves operating the center, leading customer service, coaching, and staff development, with a focus on delivering an exceptional experience for kids and families.

Qualifications

• Athletic or coaching background with kids age 15 months to 11 years, passion for working with children.
• CPR certification and strong ability to communicate with parents/guardians.
• Experience with LearnUpon training and HQ Certification processes.
• Management experience is a plus but not required.
• Experience with Google and Microsoft platforms.
• Familiarity with systems like ZenPlanner, LearnUpon, CareerPlug, and ADP.
• Knowledge of physiology, exercise techniques, and body mechanics.
• CPR certified.

Responsibilities

• Understand the center’s KPIs and financials to drive decisions.
• Foster relationships with KidStrong families and provide excellent service.
• Oversee center initiatives including maintenance, training, and brand consistency.
• Sell and schedule events to maximize profitability.
• Lead coaching and curriculum delivery and monitor staff performance.
