Job summary

KidStrong Davenport is seeking a General Manager to lead the center, develop coaches, and deliver an exceptional experience for kids and families. The role emphasizes achieving sales targets, reducing member attrition, and building a culture of learning and accountability.

The General Manager will oversee operations, scheduling, events, and customer relationships, with relocation to the West Des Moines area as the new center opens.

Qualifications

• Athletic or coaching background with children ages 15 months to 11 years.
• Coach Certification through the HQ Training and Certification team.
• Complete training through LearnUpon as required by HQ team.
• Previous management experience is required.
• Practical work experience with Google and Microsoft platforms.

Responsibilities

• Understand the center’s key KPIs and financials to guide decisions.
• Build relationships with KidStrong families for exceptional service.
• Oversee center initiatives such as maintenance and brand consistency.
• Manage center scheduling and coach assignments; staff management.
• Promote and sell KidStrong events to maximize center profitability.
• Lead coaching staff development and performance evaluations.
• Coach students following the KidStrong curriculum and use the KS Coaches App.
