Goodwin Recruiting is seeking a polished, hands-on Assistant General Manager for one of its highest-volume North Shore restaurants. The role emphasizes floor leadership, people development, and exceptional hospitality in a fast-paced, chef-driven environment.

You will partner with the General Manager to lead and coach the team, manage labor, and deliver outstanding guest experiences while contributing to daily financial performance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of restaurant supervisory/management experience.
• 1–2 years as an Assistant General Manager preferred.
• Experience in upscale-casual, full-service, or chef-driven restaurants.

Responsabilités

• Lead, coach, and develop the restaurant team with the General Manager.
• Hands-on leadership during service to ensure smooth FOH execution.
• Maintain high standards for hospitality, professionalism, and guest service.
• Recruiting, interviewing, training, scheduling, and performance management.
• Manage staffing and labor levels based on business volume.
• Handle guest concerns and service recovery with urgency.
• Assist with inventory, cost control, cash handling, and daily financials.
• Oversee reservations and guest flow; maintain a strong on-floor presence.
• Coordinate events, promotions, and community initiatives.
• Ensure cleanliness, safety, sanitation, and standards.
