Job summary

Goodwin Recruiting is recruiting a Restaurant General Manager for an upscale, high-volume Boston-area operation. You will lead all aspects of restaurant performance, from service to financials, ensuring exceptional guest experiences while driving profitability.

Candidate must have a strong background in fine-dining, beverage leadership, and staff development, with TIPs/ServSafe certifications or the ability to obtain them. Relocation support is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience leading high-end, high-volume restaurants.
• Strong P&L, budgeting, forecasting abilities.
• Deep beverage knowledge; CMS or WSET preferred.
• TIPs and ServSafe certifications required or obtainable.
• Proven leadership, team development, and guest service skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all daily operations, coordinating front-of-house and culinary teams to maintain exceptional service, quality, efficiency, and consistency in a high-volume environment.
• Manage P&L, budgeting, forecasting, labor, food and beverage costs, inventory, and purchasing to maximize revenue and profitability.
• Deliver elevated, personalized hospitality while maintaining exceptional service standards across dining room, bar, and lounge.
• Recruit, train, mentor, and retain management and service teams while fostering accountability and a high-performance culture.
• Support beverage programs through staff education, inventory controls, beverage sales strategies, and floor management.
