Job summary

Sonic Drive-In in Brewton, Alabama is seeking an Assistant General Manager to support the General Manager with daily operations and staff development. You will train Crew/Team members, carhops, and supervisors, ensuring safe, clean, and efficient food delivery and an excellent customer experience.

Responsibilities include scheduling, inventory control, payroll records, recruiting, and implementing marketing plans while upholding company policies and labor standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of restaurant management experience (QSR preferred).
• Experience running shifts with or without supervision.
• Knowledge of federal and state labor laws and local health regulations.

Responsibilities

• Train, coach and monitor Crew/Team members and Carhops.
• Direct and assign staff to ensure food service meets standards.
• Prepare employee work schedules and manage staffing levels.
• Monitor inventory and place orders within cost controls.
• Interview and hire restaurant crew and management team members.
• Develop and implement a marketing plan.
• Open/close the restaurant and prepare operational reports.
