Job summary

Charter Foods, a fast-paced restaurant group, seeks an Assistant General Restaurant Manager to support the Restaurant General Manager in running shifts and ensuring brand standards. You will lead team members, ensure smooth operations, and uphold service quality.

You will solve problems, guide others, manage inventory, and ensure financial accountability while maintaining a safe, clean environment for staff and customers. This role offers growth opportunities within a thriving franchise.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 1–3 years of supervisory experience in either a food service or retail environment, including Profit and Loss responsibility.
• 50-Hour Work Week.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Basic business math and accounting skills, and strong analytical/decision-making skills.
• Able to sweep and mop floors, dust shelves, lift and carry out trash containers, and place them in an outside bin.
• Able to clean the parking lot and grounds surrounding the restaurant.
• Able to tolerate standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs., and stooping during 80% of shift time.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Restaurant General Manager in running shifts and meeting Charter Foods standards and brand standards.
• Take ownership and responsibility to solve problems with a smile and seek help when needed.
• Guide Team Members and Shift Managers to complete all duties, manage inventory, and maintain financial accountability.
