Job summary

The Scion Group LLC is seeking an Assistant General Manager to support the General Manager across operations at a student housing property. The role emphasizes a customer-centric mindset, hands-on leadership, and the ability to act in the GM's absence.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Customer-centric mindset with ability to prioritize.
• 1+ year(s) experience in living communities or property management.
• Proficient in property management software, preferably Entrata.

Responsibilities

• Assist with attracting candidates on and off campus and improve employee retention.
• Coach and develop team members and help with on-site scheduling and after-hours on-call shifts.
• Oversee resident accounts, billing, and regular auditing for accuracy.
• Coordinate work orders with staff or vendors to meet timely requests and maintain satisfaction.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained community and inspect facilities regularly.
• Support annual turnover tasks and move-in/move-out processes with vendors and staff.
• Drive customer experience initiatives and manage sales interactions and marketing activities.
