Job summary

The Scion Group in College Station, TX is seeking an Assistant General Manager (AGM) to support the General Manager in driving operational and financial performance for the asset. This role is a community leader in a fast-paced, student-focused environment and requires a customer-centric mindset and the ability to act as General Manager in their absence.

Qualifications

• Experience in staff development and leadership in a multi-person environment.
• Familiarity with Fair Housing, safety, and company policies.
• Experience managing resident accounts and property operations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and coaching for staff performance and foster a positive and productive team environment.
• Assist with attracting, hiring, retaining and training exceptional team members.
• Ensure onsite staff are trained and compliant with Fair Housing, safety and company policies.
• Manage development and adherence to the property onsite schedule, including after hours on-call shifts.
• Prepare, respond and advise on all community aspects including market, physical condition, policies and emergencies.
