Job summary

Ruby Tuesday in Greenbelt, MD is seeking an AGM to manage day-to-day restaurant operations, train, supervise and direct kitchen and service teams, and ensure high-quality dining experiences. The AGM is the on-site leadership contact, handling staff performance, scheduling, and adherence to policy and safety standards.

You'll drive sales, control costs, maintain food safety, and uphold the CHARM Service Model while aligning with corporate playbooks.

Qualifications

• Must have experience managing a restaurant or similar operation.
• Strong leadership and team supervision abilities.
• Excellent communication and decision-making skills.
• Ability to train, supervise and direct kitchen and service staff.
• Proven ability to drive sales and manage costs.
• ServSafe Certification preferred or obtainable before training completes.

Responsibilities

• Manage, supervise and direct all hourly employees and daily activities.
• Conduct performance evaluations, coaching and discipline as needed.
• Direct shift leadership and ensure staff follow work rules and standards.
• Schedule staff and assign tasks to meet open-hour demands.
• Drive sales, control food costs and monitor inventory and health ratings.
• Ensure food safety, cleanliness and CHARM Service Model adherence.
• Provide training on Ruby Tuesday policies, procedures and specs.
• Oversee production and preparation of food and beverages per recipes.
• Communicate shift notes and needs via manager logbook.
• Enforce safety measures and manage cost controls.
