Job summary

FreeRange Concepts is seeking an experienced Assistant General Manager (AGM) to lead operations for The Rustic. You will oversee front- and back-of-house, mentor staff, and model FreeRange values to drive revenue and guest satisfaction.

You will manage budgets, labor, and vendor relationships while maintaining high standards of service and safety. This is a growth-focused role across FreeRange brands with leadership development opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of management experience as an Assistant General Manager or General Manager in hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily Front of House and Back of House operations.
• Deliver exceptional service and ensure guests leave with a remarkable experience.
• Resolve guest concerns with professionalism and hospitality.
• Oversee product quality, vendor relationships, and recipe adherence.
• Supervise and support team members across shifts.
• Evaluate staff performance and provide growth feedback.
• Forecast business needs, manage budgets, and control costs.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and presentation standards.
• Monitor labor and inventory to meet financial goals.
• Build community connections and promote the brand through events.
• Train and develop new leaders and team members.
• Implement policies and best practices for long-term operational excellence.
