Job summary

Popeyes is seeking an Assistant General Manager to support the Restaurant General Manager in daily operations, coaching the crew, and delivering the brand’s iconic Southern hospitality. This role focuses on leadership, team development, and ensuring excellent guest experiences in a fast-paced environment.

The AGM will help manage labor and costs, uphold food safety standards, and drive profitability while fostering an inclusive, high-energy team culture.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of restaurant or retail management experience (QSR a plus).
• People-first leadership with a hands-on, lead-by-example approach.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support all aspects of daily restaurant operations, from the front counter to the back of house.
• Lead shifts with confidence – ensuring speed, accuracy, and top-tier guest experiences.
• Coach, develop, and motivate team members to hit service and performance goals.
• Monitor food quality, safety standards, and cleanliness.
• Assist in managing labor, food costs, and profitability.
• Respond to guest feedback and resolve concerns with care.
• Ensure compliance with brand standards, policies, and safety procedures and other duties assigned.
• Help with hiring, onboarding, and training of new team members.
