Applegreen USA Welcome Centers is seeking an Assistant General Manager in New Jersey to help the General Manager oversee daily operations and deliver exceptional service. This role offers growth opportunities, flexible schedules, and a chance to lead a team across fast-paced food service locations.

You will supervise day-to-day activities, coach supervisors, and help ensure brand standards, cash handling, and inventory controls are maintained.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of quick service restaurant or similar management experience.
• Strong leadership and team motivation skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Ability and willingness to lift/push objects weighing over 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver performance feedback, set goals, foster teamwork, and align staff with business objectives.
• Supervise day-to-day operations and coach shifts supervisors.
• Step in for the general manager when needed.
• Motivate staff and maintain morale, especially during busy periods.
• Ensure brand standards and store procedures are followed.
• Manage cash and daily reports per company directives.
• Address customer concerns and build long-term relations.
• Maintain inventory accuracy with spot counts and checks.
