Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services in New Jersey is seeking an Assistant General Manager to help ensure day-to-day operations run smoothly and to learn essential management skills in a fast-paced environment.

You will lead teams, monitor store performance, coach supervisors, uphold brand standards, manage cash, resolve customer issues, and support a positive workplace culture while advancing your leadership career with flexible schedules, PTO, and education assistance.

Qualifications

• Experience in leadership and people management.
• Ability to coach and develop staff.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Knowledge of brand standards and store operations.
• Physical ability to lift/push objects over 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver performance feedback, set goals, foster teamwork, and communicate business objectives.
• Oversee day-to-day supervision of non-management associates and develop shifts supervisors.
• Be capable of acting in the absence of the general manager.
• Motivate staff and address morale issues promptly.
• Maintain leadership and organizational effectiveness.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Uphold brand standards and maximize brand/landlord/labor relations.
• Ensure the restaurant looks clean and inviting, adhering to brand standards.
• Manage cash daily and prepare reports as directed.
