Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services in New Jersey is seeking an Assistant General Manager to oversee day-to-day operations, mentor team members, and ensure smooth store performance in a fast-paced environment.

You will lead by example, deliver performance feedback, uphold brand standards and food safety, manage cash and inventory, and foster strong guest relations to drive sales and customer satisfaction across our network.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and management abilities with a proven track record.
• Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with business sense.
• Basic food safety understanding and practice.
• Ability to lift/push objects weighing over 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver performance feedback, set goals, foster teamwork and communicate objectives.
• Supervise non-management staff and coach shifts supervisors.
• Operate in absence of general manager.
• Motivate staff and maintain morale.
• Ensure brand standards, store operations and cash handling.
• Resolve customer issues and maintain positive relationships.
• Monitor inventory accuracy with spot counts.
• Ensure policies and procedures are followed.
