Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services is seeking an Assistant General Manager in New Jersey to help the General Manager run daily operations and develop entry-level management talent. This role offers growth opportunities within a fast-paced service environment across multiple restaurant brands.

The successful candidate will lead teams, uphold brand standards, manage cash and inventories, and resolve customer issues to ensure a high-quality guest experience.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and management skills with proven ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Excellent customer service abilities and positive attitude
• Excellent verbal and communication skills with a sharp business acumen
• Basic food safety understanding and practice.
• Ability and willingness to lift/push objects weighing over 30 Lbs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver performance feedback, set goals, foster teamwork, and communicate business objectives.
• Oversee day-to-day supervision of non-management associates and coach shifts supervisors.
• Be able to perform duties in the absence of the general manager.
• Motivate staff, especially during times of low morale.
• Maintain brand standards and procedures to maximize brand/landlord/labor relations.
• Ensure cash management is accurate and reports are delivered daily.
• Address customer needs and resolve issues to foster long-term relationships.
• Perform spot inventory counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
