Job summary

Popeyes is seeking an Assistant General Manager to support daily operations, coach crews, and deliver legendary Southern hospitality. You will lead shifts, manage guest experiences, and help drive labor and food-cost controls in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

The AGM role emphasizes hands-on leadership, teamwork, and a commitment to quality guest service, while supporting the General Manager in achieving performance goals and training new team members.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in restaurant or retail management.
• People-first leadership with a hands-on, lead-by-example approach.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Willingness to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support all aspects of daily restaurant operations, from the front counter to the back of house.
• Lead shifts with confidence—ensuring speed, accuracy, and top-tier guest experiences.
• Coach, develop, and motivate team members to hit service and performance goals.
• Monitor food quality, safety standards, and cleanliness.
• Assist in managing labor, food costs, and profitability.
• Respond to guest feedback and resolve concerns with care.
• Ensure compliance with brand standards, policies, and safety procedures and other duties assigned.
• Help with hiring, onboarding, and training of new team members.
