Job summary

Popeyes is seeking an Assistant General Manager to support the Restaurant General Manager in daily operations, coaching the crew, and delivering the legendary Southern hospitality Popeyes is known for. As AGM, you’ll lead with passion, hustle, and heart to run shifts with speed and accuracy while maintaining guest satisfaction.

You will lead shifts, mentor staff, monitor safety and costs, and help hire, onboard, and train new team members in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of restaurant or retail management experience.
• People-first leadership style with a hands-on, lead-by-example approach.
• Strong communication, problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Support all aspects of daily restaurant operations, from front counter to back of house.
• Lead shifts with confidence—ensuring speed, accuracy and guest satisfaction.
• Coach, develop and motivate team members to hit service and performance goals.
• Monitor food quality, safety standards, and cleanliness.
• Assist in managing labor, food costs and profitability.
• Respond to guest feedback and resolve concerns with care.
• Ensure compliance with brand standards, policies and safety procedures; assist in hiring, onboarding and training.
