Wendy’s is seeking an Assistant General Manager in Norfolk, VA to support the General Manager in running a multi-million dollar restaurant. You will mentor the management team, drive guest satisfaction, and lead daily operations to meet quality and financial goals.

You will oversee staffing, training, and scheduling, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards while maintaining a welcoming environment for guests. Prior restaurant experience is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of management experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
• Proven leadership and customer service skills, with ability to drive results.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day restaurant operations alongside the General Manager.
• Lead and motivate shift managers, crew members, and staff to maintain operational excellence.
• Manage food preparation and presentation standards to ensure quality and timeliness.
• Ensure cleanliness, sanitation, safety, and regulatory compliance in all areas.
• Enforce policies and procedures to deliver a positive guest experience.
• Drive a customer-first culture and resolve guest issues professionally.
