Sally’s Apizza is seeking an Assistant General Manager to partner with the General Manager on day‑to‑day restaurant operations in our Norwalk, CT location. You will supervise front- and back‑of‑house teams and engage with guests to deliver exceptional hospitality.

We value strong leadership, proactive coaching, and adherence to brand standards. The role requires 90% hands-on work with shifts across days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of restaurant management experience.
• ServeSafe certification is required.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office; Brink POS preferred.
• Experience with third‑party delivery platforms.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the General Manager to run daily restaurant operations.
• Manage front- and back-of-house staff and guest interactions to ensure high hospitality standards.
• Mentor and coach managers and train hourly staff.
• Ensure SOPs are followed and resolve guest issues promptly.
• Open/close the restaurant and manage inventory and payroll tasks as needed.
• Interview and hire hourly staff and place orders based on forecasted sales.
