Sally's Apizza in Norwalk, CT is seeking an Executive Sous Chef to oversee daily kitchen operations at our new location. This role involves managing staff, developing new recipes, and maintaining food quality and hygiene standards.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary excellence and experience in a leadership capacity. We offer a starting salary of $70,000 annually, health benefits, and a $4,000 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of Food Safety systems and procedures.
• Minimum 2-3 years in a leadership role within a full-service restaurant kitchen.
• ServeSafe Certified.

Responsabilités

• Manage all activities in the kitchen.
• Train kitchen personnel in best practices.
• Control food costs to budgeted levels.
• Supervise and inspect all prep procedures.

Connaissances

Food Safety systems

Food prep & knife skills

Computer Skills (Microsoft Office, Brink POS)

Basic Spanish (preferred but not required)

Formation

High school or GED equivalent

Formal culinary training or associate degree in culinary arts
