Applegreen (US) Welcome Centers is seeking an Assistant General Manager to support the General Manager in daily operations across our travel plazas. You will supervise and coach team members, ensure smooth service, and uphold safety and brand standards in a fast-paced environment.

Experience in quick service restaurant management, strong leadership, and excellent customer service are essential. This on-site role offers competitive benefits and opportunities for growth within a expanding network

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in quick service restaurant or similar management operations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver performance feedback, set goals, foster teamwork, and communicate business objectives.
• Oversee day-to-day supervision of non-management staff; assign work and oversee store-level operations.
• Step in and perform duties in the absence of the general manager.
• Motivate staff and maintain positive morale, especially during slow periods.
• Maintain brand standards, procedures, and cash handling as directed.
• Resolve customer needs and build long-term relationships.
• Ensure inventory accuracy with spot counts and checks.
