CAVA in Riverview, FL is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead daily restaurant operations and partner with the General Manager and Area Leader. You will help create action plans, drive labor management, schedules, and training to develop hourly Team Members, all while upholding standards for quality and service.

The position offers competitive pay at $20.00 per hour, projected to about $57,200 annually for a 50-hour workweek, with opportunities to contribute to profitability and guest

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of supervisory or management experience in restaurant or hospitality.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in managing daily restaurant operations, including opening/closing procedures.
• Ensure adherence to CAVA standards for food quality, service, and cleanliness.
• Oversee inventory management, supply ordering, and cost control.
• Supervise and support Team Members with training, coaching, and feedback.
• Support scheduling and staffing for the restaurant.
• Address Team Member issues and conflicts to maintain a positive environment.
• Enhance guest experience by upholding high service standards and addressing concerns.
• Lead initiatives to boost customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Manage financials including sales tracking, cash handling, and budgeting.
• Prepare financial reports and analyze performance for improvements.
• Ensure accurate financial record-keeping and cash procedures compliance.
• Oversee food safety practices and team training on procedures.
• Handle administrative tasks like inventory management and records.
• Support with report preparation and action plan implementation.
• Participate in special projects to drive restaurant success.
