Job summary

At CAVA, Assistant General Manager in Florida partners with the General Manager to translate mission into daily operations. You’ll help set store action plans, monitor financial metrics, and develop hourly Team Members through coaching and training.

You’ll oversee scheduling, forecasting, labor, inventory, and cost controls to protect profitability while maintaining exceptional service. You’ll model guest-first service and uphold food safety standards.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in a supervisory or management role within restaurant or hospitality.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service.
• Willing to work nights, weekends and travel as needed.
• Able to manage budgeting and cost controls.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in managing daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures.
• Ensure adherence to standards for food quality, service, and cleanliness.
• Oversee inventory management, supply ordering and cost control to maintain profitability.
• Supervise and support Team Members with training, coaching, and feedback.
• Support with scheduling and staffing.
• Address Team Member issues to maintain a positive work environment.
• Enhance guest experience by upholding service standards and addressing concerns promptly.
• Lead by example in customer service and encourage the team to follow suit.
• Assist with financial reporting, sales tracking, and adherence to budgets.
• Support with food safety training and maintaining records.
