Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services in New Jersey seeks an Assistant General Manager to help run daily operations and develop a capable team across our centers. This entry-level management role offers hands-on leadership and opportunities to learn essential skills in supervision, coaching, and decision-making.

You will supervise non-management staff, uphold brand standards, manage cash and inventory, and resolve customer issues while promoting flexible schedules and employee

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and management skills with proven ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Excellent customer service abilities and positive attitude.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic food safety understanding and practice.
• Ability to lift/push objects weighing over 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver performance feedback, set goals, foster teamwork and communicate business objectives.
• Supervise day-to-day operations and coach shift supervisors.
• Act in the General Manager's absence and maintain store performance.
• Motivate staff and maintain high morale during busy periods.
• Ensure policies, brand standards and cash/inventory procedures are followed.
• Address customer needs and resolve issues to ensure satisfaction.
• Perform spot inventory and support inventory accuracy.
