Job summary

Eureka! Restaurant Group is seeking an experienced Assistant General Manager in California to support the General Manager in daily restaurant operations, drive sales, and uphold hospitality standards.

You will lead front-of-house and back-of-house teams, manage schedules and labor costs, recruit and coach staff, and ensure health and safety compliance while helping to grow revenue and local marketing initiatives.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years of age.
• Food Manager certified.
• TIPs Certified.
• Minimum 2 years management experience in high-volume restaurant.
• HR: Recruit, train, coach, counsel, and align employees; communicate job expectations; monitor, appraise, and review job contributions; enforce policies and procedures.
• Strategic Restaurant Operations: contribute to the company's plan through daily dialogue; implement standards; resolve problems; audits.

• Lead front-of-house and back-of-house teams.
• Manage scheduling, labor costs, and staffing to align with goals.

• Monitor financial performance (P&Ls) and drive revenue growth.
• Partner with GM on local marketing and community engagement.
• Act as acting GM when needed for continuity.
