Job summary

Aloft Hotels by Marriott in Homewood, AL, seeks an energetic Assistant General Manager (AGM) to lead daily hotel operations, drive guest satisfaction, and mentor high-performing teams.

As the General Manager's right hand, you will oversee Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, and engineering, ensure brand standards, and contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and revenue performance. This role requires visible leadership and a passion for hospitality.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of hotel management experience.
• At least 2 years in a leadership role supervising multiple departments.
• Strong knowledge of Front Office, Housekeeping, and F&B.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily hotel operations as the General Manager's right hand.
• Lead Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, Engineering and other departments.
• Ensure guest satisfaction by proactively resolving service concerns.
• Monitor budgets, payroll, scheduling, and productivity.
• Review financial reports, forecasts, and departmental performance.
• Support budgeting and forecasting initiatives.
