Job summary

Miguel's Jr. in Claremont/Upland is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead front and back of house operations and partner with the General Manager. This role focuses on execution, team development, and driving profitability across a single QSR location.

You will support scheduling, training, guest recovery, and adherence to safety and quality standards, while preparing Shift Supervisors for greater responsibility in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a supervisory or management role in QSR or similar environment
• Ability to lead, coach, and motivate a diverse team
• Working knowledge of restaurant operations, labor management, and food safety
• Proficiency in verbal and written English; bilingual English/Spanish a plus
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
• MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) proficiency
• High School Diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Supports BOH and FOH daily operations to ensure standards and guest service expectations.
• Assists GM in managing labor, food cost, inventory, and daily performance metrics.
• Leads shift teams with coaching, direction, and role modelling.
• Ensures safety, cleanliness, and compliance with policies and brand standards.
• Manages guest concerns and escalates issues to the GM as needed.
