Hotel Equities is seeking an Assistant General Manager for the Holiday Inn Express Garners Ferry in Columbia, SC. This role focuses on delivering exceptional guest service while maximizing hotel profitability and ensuring operations align with brand standards.

You will direct front desk, housekeeping, reservations, guest service, and maintenance; drive ADR and occupancy; coordinate with Sales and Operating departments; coach supervisors; manage budgets and safety programs; and uphold company

Qualifications

2+ years of supervisory hotel operations experience.
Experience with major brands (Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Wyndham, or Hyatt).
Ability to analyze financial statements and budgets.

Responsibilities

Directing and coordinating front desk, housekeeping, reservations, guest service, security, and maintenance.
Maximizing ADR and occupancy.
Coordinating communications between Sales and Operating departments.
Motivating, coaching, and training department supervisors.
Understanding financial statements and budget, including staffing guidelines.
Controlling department head schedule, expenses, and implementing cost-saving strategies.
Guiding and implementing policies, procedures, and systems to improve operations.
Managing all aspects of the safety program, including training, reporting, and incentives.
Maintaining a cooperative and positive work environment.
